ATHY

Athy is the historical archive of Inter-IIT Athletics. It holds the complete results from every Inter-IIT Athletics Meet in the dataset — every athlete, every event, every medal, every record. A Wall of Fame for Indian collegiate athletics.

For decades, Inter-IIT Athletics has produced some of India's most competitive collegiate sport. Thousands of athletes have competed. Records have been set, broken, and forgotten. Championships have been won and lost by single points.

Almost none of it was accessible. Results lived in PDFs that nobody shared. Records existed in spreadsheets that nobody could find. Athletes graduated without any lasting record of what they achieved.

Athy is the attempt to fix that.

Every result in Athy is sourced from official Inter-IIT documentation. Where data is missing or uncertain, it is marked clearly rather than filled in. No results are fabricated.

The archive currently covers the 48th through 58th Inter-IIT Athletics Meets (2012–2025), with select records dating back to 1972. 2011 is not yet in the archive. 2015 was cancelled (Madras floods). 2020–2021 were cancelled (COVID-19).

If you competed in an Inter-IIT Athletics Meet and your result is missing, wrong, or incomplete — please get in touch. Corrections go through a review process before being added.

If you competed in Inter-IIT Athletics, your profile exists in the archive. You can write to us to verify your identity, add a photo, bio, and social links.

Athy is built on a simple belief: if you competed, your result should exist somewhere permanent, searchable, and easy to share. An athlete who ran the 100m final in 2016 should be able to find their result in 2035 and show it to their kid.
